Letter to the Candidate


Do any of the Democratic leaders have any say in which direction the Democratic Party is run and how the canidates should pursue the race. For every smear that is made within the Democratic race, it is giving fuel to the Republican's race in winnig the Presidency. All they have to do is wait and watch and both democratic candidates ( the Democratic Party) will do a good job in destroying any democratic chances of winning the race to the Presidency.
You should really think in terms of what is better for the Democratic Party as a whole and more importantly for the Nation.
You should unite, you should not divide. You should build, you should not destroy. If we are really after change then lets make the first change in making this a positive campaign.
Do not the Democratic leaders have any influence in leading this party on a positive note. You might ask when projecting your campaign, is this good for everyone concerned? You may do some good for the Democratic party.

Right now, all the republicans have to do is sit back and watch the democrats try to destroy themselves and the democratic party. Obama and Clinton are doing the republican's job and since the democrats can do things so well when they put their mind to it, they probably will help put a republican in the office. Let the party push away the pettiness and stick to the problems at hand

Step out of the box or should we say cave and start addressing the issues when canidates campaign.

The War, Economy, Health, Education, Earth. Anything else that you talk about may be irrelevant if the first 5 points are not dealt with.

The War

Getting out of the war will not totally get the economy back on it feet but surely it has to be the first step. What if we had all the money that was spent on the war to spend on domestic issues in our nation, the other four issues.
The Economy

If we can find the money for war then we should be able to find the money to invest in our own economy
Major strategies should be taken when we let the banking get away with so much. The first issue is change the laws in Banking and Lending institutions. That would be a great door to open
Emergency procedures to go into force when problems in foreclosure disasters.
And can be helped immediately by stopping the foreclosures and lowing the interest rates
There has to be a limit on credit card rates, loan sharking should not be permitted
Health

Pick the best plan used in other countries and start applying. We can make it even better. But the goal must be and has to be that no man, woman, or child is left with out the same help and attendance as our leaders. "Leave No One Behind"
Education

"Leave No One Behind" starting with our domestic educational institutions and then continuing around the world. For the ones you leave behind, whether they are domestic or international , are going to be the ones that take "it" all away.
Earth
Take care of all the above and all the things we need to do for the Earth will start falling into place.
We are wasting our precious resources. Americans waste more than any other Nation. We are obese

So I say to the candidate, take issue with the issues.
Think beyond yourself, think of the party and more importantly,what is best for the nation.
It is going to take the next sixteen years to fix the things that have not been done and should have been done, and the things that have been done that should not have been done

We are looking at two great potential candidates for President, the potential of two great Presidents that can lead us into the future. These are exciting times.

Just think of it, the democrats in the white house for the next 16 years.

How is that going to happen and can it happen?
Yes it can, but first let us start with some fundamental rules.

The candidate that is the mud slinger is the one that looks bad, and that mud slinger makes their party look bad and it is especially damaging when the candidate uses it against a fellow party candidate. It just give fuel for the oposition. The people want a positive President not another negative and fear driven President. If the candidates want change then let them start here. There should be no negative campaigning.

If a statement is not good for the Democratic Party as a whole and not good for all concerned, then do not make the statement.

If you can't say something nice, do not say anything at all.

The candidate must use rhetoric with substance, not just rhetoric.

Rhetoric without substance is like complaining without having a solution, just another complaint but with charisma.

A candidate must use rhetoric to explain the substance of their plans not just being rhetorical without substance. Rhetoric with out giving substance is nothing.

A Candidae must concentrate on their plans in their campaign, and explain how those plans are going to be implemented. The plans do not have to be perfect but give examples and show direction so that people, the voters can sink their teeth into it. Plans can be improved and changed along the way. Give the people substance so that more people, more voters will understand those plans. People want to hear substance not rhetoric alone.

If a candidate wants to strengthen their candidacy and the Democratic Party then the candidate should practice these simple basic rules.

Furthermore, just winning the candidacy from the Democratic party will not ensure the election to the Presidency

The race is too close and the country is too divided on so many issues. If either candidate wants to win and winning is putting a democrat in the white house, the candidates must join hands and compromise and sacrafice right now for the good of the country as a whole. By doing so, two candidates will be able to ensure and secure that there will be a Democratic President in the White House for the next 16 years. We have two candidates that can make that happen. There has never been more of an exciting prospect
If our candidates really want change, there can be no better way to ensure change than to have a democrat in the White House for the next 16 years.

It may matter who is first and who is second, so the party, the people need to influence our candidates to do the right thing. The candidates need to look at this very closely. This may be the magic bullet for change for the next 16 years

Both candidates want to come up with solutions. As a leader of the nation the President and Vice President are going to put the best people that they can find in charge of finding the best answers, the best solutions. It may take 16 years to fix all the problems of this nation. Our country can not afford the arrogance fear and negativity that has been used for the past 8 years.

The Country can not afford the special big interest to control the Country any longer.

For the sake of our nation we have to start thinking outside the box for answers.

Every one is talking about change, but if our candidates are ringing true for change, then our candidates must join hands and take on the Republican party as a whole.

Do not take anything for Granted. We may have done that 8 years ago so let us not have a repeat

We have not won until it is a landslide event, a home run, a touchdown. We need an overwhelming indisputable victory.

Our nation is divided but the Democratic party must not be divided. The democratic party needs to unite the country and make change.
